Why hasn't a link been removed?

The real reasons a link may still be visible: unresponsive host, private space, lawful content or a case still in progress.

01

The link is still there — what's going on?

The most common causes: (1) the host hasn't processed the notice yet — timelines range from 48h to weeks; (2) the site ignores notices and we're on the Google de-indexing route; (3) it's a private space behind credentials, outside legal reach; (4) the case is in facial verification to confirm it's you. The exact status of every case is in your panel.

02

Can I ask you to review a specific link?

Yes. From your panel you can report any URL manually and it enters the same circuit: 1:1 verification, route selection and notification. You'll see every status change.

03

What if the link is lawful (a review, a news article)?

It doesn't get filed. We only act against unauthorised content: copies of your content, impersonation or NCII. Filing against lawful content would be DMCA abuse with legal risk for you — we don't do it and you shouldn't want anyone to.
