Facial verification and Annexes B/C

What 1:1 facial matching is, what you sign in Annexes B and C, where your biometric template is hosted and when it's destroyed.

01

What is 1:1 facial matching for?

We compare every hit against your 2–3 non-sexual reference photos to confirm the person in the content is you, even if it was re-uploaded under another alias with the watermark cropped. It's 1:1 (is this that person?), not mass recognition, and it prevents filing against someone else's content.

02

What exactly do I sign in Annexes B and C?

Annex B: your explicit consent to generate and use your facial template, with the processing information (purpose, EU hosting, destruction deadlines). Annex C: a limited power of attorney authorising us to file removal notices on your behalf. If you work with an agency, the agency cannot sign them for you: the protected person signs, and you can download your signed PDF from the panel.

03

Where is my template and when is it destroyed?

On our own servers within the EU, never shared with third parties. If you pause the identity, processing stops; if you leave, the template and reference photos are destroyed within 7 days, with email confirmation. You also have a 14-day withdrawal right after signing.
